I am baking pork chops and they have been in the oven for 30 minutes and they still look uncooked how long should they be cooked for? It says 45 minutes everywhere online but I doubt in 15 minutes they will be done! I do not want them to get really dry.

Pull the chops out and pierce one with a fork. If the liquid comes out clear then they are cooked, if not, then cover with foil and put back in the oven for about 10 minutes, check again and repeat. Check the temperature to make sure the heat is high enough. If it says 350, but really means 300, the turn it up to 375. Remove foil from chops during the last 10 minutes and let brown. Good luck!

Turn the heat up 15 - 30 degrees, sprinkle with a little more seasoning, add a pat of butter or drizzle with olive oil & bake about 20 more minutes. If still not done, turn broiler on for about 5 - 7 minutes, but watch closely- they will brown quickly!!

Depending on the heat of the oven. Make your oven hotter, and remember that pork meat has to be well done. its not like steak. Pork allways has to be vey well cooked.
