It seems that you are kind of contradicting yourself. The apostles did believe in the trinity and baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And Jesus himself stated that "I and my Father are one."

We do not know. There are too many conflicting writings. The OT has Jesus as the Son. The NT has him as part of the Trinity.
Hebrews 1:1-3 says.
God, after He spoke long ago by the prophets to the fathers in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us through a Son, whom He appointed heir of everything, through whom also He made the ages. And He is the outshining of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and He continually holds everything together by a short utterance from His power. When He made a cleansing of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High.

You are very wrong. There is only one God. There is a triune God. God is the Godhead, and there are three operating as one. The blessed trinity. NO the word trinity is not in the bible, but it describes a triune God of thee and says that Jesus is also God, and the HOly Spirit is God. as well as Father God.
Look up these scripts....
1 John 5:7 three are as one.
1 Tim 3:16 God made flesh and preached, Jesus.\Titus 2:13 Jesus is great God and saviour
John 10:30 I and the father are one.
John 14:9 when you have seen me, you have seen the father.
Acts 5:3-4 where God talks abouthow they lied to the Holy Spirit, therefore were lying to God.
so many more to read. these are just a few.
God is God the father, Jesus, is God the son, and the HOly Spirit, is God, the HOly Spirit, that leads to conviction.
PPL can run from the trinity all they want saying the word TRINITY isnt there but the description of a trune God is there. and same with rapture. ppl say word is not there. NO, buts their words to use of the description o fus being caught together up in the air with Jesus are there.
There is only one God, a truine God of three. and yes, Jesus did go to God the father. absolutely, as they are all three seperate ppl working togethger as one.
Like a man is boss, and two employes, that are listed as head of the company. one bob, one bill and one ruth. all there are bosses TITLE but , there are three different ppl working together as one. not difficlult once you study and pray. God bless you.

first off you answered your own question second the trinity theory is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one and 3-in-1at the same time. Jesus was 100% man and 100% God while he was on earth. so the man in him yes The Father was his God, but the God in him he is God. The Father has a son and The Son has a father, but then there's the holy spirit which you forgot to mention he is the active presence of God the presence we feel and that talks to us.

I won't reprint them here because of space. Simply read the Gospel of John Chapter one. And Hebrews Chapter one. If you read the black print you will have no doubt Jesus is GOD in the flesh. If you are using guides that tell you what the verses "really mean" then look at how far they have to stretch the plain simple ideas to make it fit their teachings. GOD's word is complete. It needs no companion.

Hmmmm... your basing your assumptions on one book... the bible... the greatest work of fiction I might add... and the only book where 2+2=5000
God is all around... god can be seen in everything we touch, hear breath, see, feel and taste... God is nature... and gods rules are the laws of nature... laws which CANNOT be broken.
Its funny how God is supposedly all knowing, yet he choses to completely waste his time by making laws he KNOWS we cant adhere to, so that he can send his child to die because of it.. .Hell.. Why set the laws then in the first place? if he created us, set laws we cant break LOL.

I will make it simple:
9Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. 12I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
Further:
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15"If you love me, you will obey what I command. 16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you. 18I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."
Sometimes I dont know how you people can get up in the morning to pee

Peace be with you.
God, our Father, who art in heaven. The creator of Heaven and earth. Our Father created with his word, "and God said" ----- Father God -----
Jesus was our God, Jesus is LORD God who made, he is the God of Genesis 2, and of John 1. "without him nothing was made that was made". ----- LORD God -----
He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But he is not God the creator of heaven and earth. God said, God the Father, who is in heaven.
There is another father, the father of lies, he is the God of Moses, the God of Mount Sinai, "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness"
This is why Jesus came, to bring us the TRUTH, that he is not God, and Satan is not God, that we have but one God and He is Our Father, who art in heaven.
The false christ (anti-christ) came first.

He also said, "The Father and I are One." He regularly used "I AM" to refer to himself (the name of God). He forgave sins which was a privilege reserved for God.

yes I agree but let me ask you a little something. Isn't it better that someone follows God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit and believe that they are one rather than not at all? Live and let live!
