Self mutiliation can be a subconcious cry for help. It wouldn't be a bad idea to talk to a school counselor or your doctor to find out if other additional may be a good idea.

Please don't be afraid to talk to someone you trust, it may just be a passing fad, but it could also lead to more problems if it isn't resolved. Mental health is just as important as physical and dental health and it isn't such a stigma anymore to see a psychiatrist and the more people discuss mental health issues in public the more commonplace people will realize it is.

I deal with issues everyday with my husband, and older son who have been in treatment for several years.

Yes, you definitely need Help! What do you mean by a bunch of other stuff? Cutting is very serious. I believe that you are aware of this . You would really benefit if you would talk to someone that you are comfortable with. Maybe that person or someone else could go with you to ask for help from a proffessional that is experienced and really would help you with whatever is bothering you. If you continue cutting, you may end up bleeding to death or whatever the other stuff is sounds as if you are really seeking help.

Being a cutter myself, yes you need help.

I am very glad today, that people found out about me when they did because I know I would have gotten worse and would not be alive today.

Honestly, I wasn't really happy when they first found out but then again I wasn't really happy anyway. Today, I am happy and healthy. Getting caught cutting was a turning point for me. I hope it is one for you as well.

Take a chance. Get some help and see how you feel then. You are worth it!
