After eating a large amount of sugar (in any snack), my body seems to go limp and weak, I get shakey, and have joint spasms. I can't control my body. Why does this happen?

Your pancreas secretes insulin to metabolize the sugar. A condition called hyperinsulinemia (too much insulin) can make one feel confused, tired, weak...after eating foods with sugars. It's fairly common.Uncommonly diagnosed because you won't die from it...yet. However, some people believe it is a precursor to type II diabetes.
Oh...It can make you gain weight really fast, too.
It sounds like if this is what you have, it's pretty severe.
Ask yourself this... If it was anything else doing it to you wouldn't you avoid it after the 1st time?
Easier said than done, huh? ; )

A girl in the office I work with had that too and mentioned it today. I don't know what causes it but I expect all that sugar is a shock for your body.
