I was looking for brown tuxes and all the chain type stores (like after hours) don't seem to carry them... Anyone know or heard of dark brown tuxes being around still? I know they had them in the 70s!! Thanks!!!

After Six makes a brown tux, maybe call some tux shops and ask if they carry that particular line:

So does Stephen Geoffrey..this tux is SHARP! Don't know about availability in your area though:

Brown tuxes are just now making a comeback. My fiance and I are looking at them for our wedding in October. We're using a local place in Princeton, NJ but they use the same names as most chain stores. The guy who works there said the chocolate browns are coming out now for spring, and in a month or two darker ones will be around for the fall/winter. So look around! They're there!

i think of a black tux would be purely large. Black and brown flow jointly now! That previous rule does not prepare anymore. i've got been to a marriage the place the ladies wore all brown dresses and the boys wore black tuxes with brown vests below and it nevertheless regarded solid. Do they even make brown tuxes? you should flow with tan suits or some thing like that i assume.

You can go and check on our web page! Our colors were Ivory, Champagn & Chocolate. It was hard finding brown tues. So my braidmaids were dark brown (Truffel-Chocalate) and the guys were ivory suits and chocolate shirts with chocolate shoes and the ties had ivory champange and chocolate in it. You can get the suits at K & G fashions for &79.00- 80.00. great deal...but go and check out the site its like 400 & something photos. And let me no what you think. God Bless...

I would also suggest calling your local Mens Wearhouse, they are great for tuxedos and usually have all the latest styles.

Good luck!

Try looking in thrift stores, like the secondhand store stuff. I'm pretty sure they don't make NEW 70's type anymore...
