How will you know the real Jesus?

I am glad to say " NO ". Jesus is one of the most recorded person in history, and we do not even need the Bible for that purpose.

When and if one does not believe the Bible is true, maybe other historical documentation helps. Jesus did what He came to do. I believe the Bible is true because it communicates with me. I know this sounds crazy. But before the Bible started to talk to me, I studied the book of Rick Warren called "The Purpose Driven Life ".

I had been baptized again, I attended church regular basis...and I still felt like a spiritual fake because I had this longing for Him and His Word but I did not understand His Word, and I did not feel He was communicating to me. I prayed and prayed, and nothing happened. I had never asked Holy Spirit in my heart. When I did that, His Word opened to me like never before. Tat made all the difference to me. I am still struggling in many areas in my life, but I am glad to tell you that Jesus of the Bible is real. He is God. He is well and alive. And I want to be a player in the midst of what He is up to. However, my Spirit is strong and my flesh is weak. That is why I am thankful that He still uses me and made me the way to my Father's house, even when I fall short : )

The key to understanding the claimants role as prophets or saviors are through their words and actions written in their holy books. The key to unlock it and to find out yourself their true identity behind their claims is your understanding about spirit and it's law which can be learned through meditation, introspection and critical analysis. Understand your spirit, and you'll never be lost.

As for me, my view and current knowledge about spirit supports the view of pacifist Jesus, Resurrection and Ascension. It is rather unspiritual way for God and Jesus to deceive the crowd whereby upon crucifixion a double would replace the real one so that the latter could escape torture and death( this is the version of the other major faith). A spiritual being or person would not shun physical death if such belief emphasize strongly on spiritual freedom from flesh. If we are to believe the claim of one of this main religion then Jesus and God simply is not the true "Jesus and God" we know it.

There are number of similarities between the teaching of Buddha and Jesus. I am not a Christian but I strongly believe there's a grain of truth about Christian belief though I don't completely in agreement with their fundamentalistic approach about being saved by merely getting a guy to be their personal Savior. It should be more than that - " carry your own cross and follow me", coming from Jesus' mouth himself.

Do not worry if it is real or not real Jesus. Just do what you think is good and if you fail because of that, the one who lead you to make mistake will be answerable for all your errors.
Just use discernment and careful judgement when choosing the right thing to do in your life. Seek to have wisdom and strive hard to understand. In the world where there are many false prophets, you have to be careful with them but nevertheless pick up some good words they may say and the secret is when they try to remove your freedom totally and ask you to blindly follow their faith and then make you guilty for the things you never did like original sin, watch out!

The Bible tells us how to tell a fake Savior from the real one. It says that there will come false Christs and false prophets - but these people will all be touching the ground. The Bible describes how the REAL Christ will return, and Satan cannot counterfeit it.

Rev. 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Yes, I worry about it. Not in the sense of not believing that there was a Jesus, but whether I really believe in the truth, and not a corrupted vision of the true purposes and meaning of such a person.

I have faith that if I keep questioning, our Creator will lead me to a more truthful and clear understanding.

No. The Bible clearly acknowledges that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. While there is much to learn and understand about the Bible, those who fear it or believe it false will never know the peace of the Love of Christ.

By the virtues of prayer and belief you will know Jesus and the Lord God will know your name. I pray that at some point you become one with the Lord to know this peace.

If what it implies in the Bible is true, then when/if Jesus or God ever walks the Earth again, we ALL will know if it is him. Even the nonbelievers will, I'm guessing. I would assume, that it has something to do with his aura or how he presents himself. If someone claims to be Jesus, more than likely, it's not him. Just my opinion, of course.

No. Jesus is just as real as you are.
The Bible tells me,
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made and came into existence by Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being."
-John 1:1, 3

No, I don't worry about it because Jesus told us to try or test the spirit. We are not to willy nilly follow anything or anybody that comes along. That is why it is important to study the Word of God, to know the truth and to be filled with God's Spirit.

Well, wait till a bunch of people disappear off the face of the earth. Then after that, seven years will go by, and when a man comes down from the heavens, you'll know it's HIM!
