I have recently bought an epilator and have only been using it on my legs, it is very painful but i think i could get used to it! i bought it because i hate shaving and dont get on very well with it, so what should i do about the underarm hair and hair around the bikini area? is it safe to use the epilator there? what are your experiences???

yes it is safe, i have a standard one for my legs and i prchased a travel one for my under arms and bikini line because the head is smaller, you can buy ones for the under arm and bikini area but this one only cost £14.99 from argos, you get used to the feeling of it quicker under your arms than you do with the bikini line but if you can get used to i think that it's worth it.

I'd really not use an epilator on the bikini area! It's a contoured area and is rather painful. I don't personally like epilators. I prefer Microwavable Wax from Veet! Simple and not as painful!

Yes, you can, it's not painful if you stretch the skin with one hand while using it, but you can get in-growing hairs with it, and it's quite messy - shaving daily, in the shower, is by far the smoothest, easiest, cleanest method for everything other than the bikini line, which is always a hasssle!!!

Im not a big fan on them, they call them epilaters but really its just plucking. It is safe to use them there but i would just shave or wax or try dipilitary creams just leave on for 3 mins and wipe hairs away and pain free
