It was fact in Brazil ( South America )

The native language is Brazil is "portuguese"

Once, an american guy travelled to Brazil , and he asked information for a brazilian guy who didn´t know speak english:

American: Please: How can I get "Paulista" avenue?
Brazilian: Cigarrets!!

Actually: Go ahead in portugues sounds "Cigarreto" but the brazilian guy tried to speak "Cigarreto"in ascent english and he said "Cigarrets"

First, this isn't funny. Second, Portuguese isn't the "native" language of Brazil.

I think it looses something in print, but I can see how it would be funny verbally to someone who knows both languages.
