Just be careful and professional. If it is right you should just feel it and you should feel that she feels it and it should all fall into place!

Okay, you are not formally her teacher, just her tutor. However, you are in a teacher/student situation. If she doesn't return your feelings, this will ruin the tutor/student relationship. My advice is to finish the lessons without making any passes on her. At the end, you might ask her if she'd ever be interested in going out to dinner with you. If she shows no interest, that's an answer. Maybe she'll say "yes." You don't even know if she's gay, right?

Well what do you know about her ? Is she married or seeing anyone??. If no ask her out to see if shes having any trouble learning the tech aspects of things.
Then while out tell her you have a crush on her. But if you do she might change teachers cause you came on to her. You'll lose your job and problem not see her agin.
Can you wait for like two weeks before classes end for good ? That would be the best time to ask her out.

wow...uh...I don't really know how to answer this.
First of all, just because a girl talks formal and polite and wears no makeup at all and abides by a schedule doesn't make her a geek. Have you considered her feelings in the matter? Talk to her. Telling her what you told us about her may make her realize that the actual geek in the class room is you. No, not geek...jerk

I would get through the course first and then make your move but given the circumstances of your teacher/student relationship, there would be nothing inappropriate about telling her. You have the perfect opportunity to let her know. You will be alone with her and you can plan it pretty well.
Relationships have a way of finding us. I started dating my insurance agent and it is a great relationship. I say go for it. Good luck.

If you are just tutoring, and the age is as you say then go for it.. Ask her out and see where it goes. Or if you can wait till the end of the course that wouldn't be a bad idea either. I do not think its weird at all. Guys are attracted to girls sometimes..lol ..just have fun

Two approaches.
1) Start telling her jokes. Make her laugh. Then tell her you are going over to starbucks, and ask her if she wants to come with you.
2) Get some friends to go hang out for a few beers, make sure there is at least one other girl there. Then tell her you and a few friends are getting together for a beer, ask her if she would like to you join "you all".

Glad to see that you are not a teacher but why risk it all?
Why not wait until you have finished teaching her, so that you can avoid the appearance of a conflict and see where things go? I would think this would say more about your character than anything else

awww, thats really cute, just flirt with her alittle, make it very subtle, if you notice she has on a nice bracelet or whatever, say something about, i like your sweater, that's nice, little things like that, do it often through out the week, to lure her in, complimenting goes a long way, when she's at home, she'll think about what you said and after a few times of subtle flirting, you should ask her what she likes to do for fun, be smooth about it though, dont just jump into it, when convo starts flowing, thats when you can ask her if she would like to hang out outside of "classtime" =) good luck

Well, it might be difficult for you if she hasnt acted at all like she might be interested but if you think its got a chance go for it - although I might suggest waiting until the end of your tutoring so that if it goes badly you wont still be stuck in the awkward situation.

Tell her that you would like to take her out some evening to get better acquainted. Coffe? Dinner? Ice Cream?
Then play it by ear and don't be pushy.
Always be a Gentlemen.
and remember the old saying - Candy is Dandy but Liquor is Quicker!
Once you get her warmed up you will love this women to death!
She sounds like she is one of the Good Ones!!!!!!!!!!!!
