Your body is developing a tolerance for the medication just like it does for alcohol or other drugs. Ask your doctor about upping the dosage.

definitely go back to the doctor that is treating you. he will most likely increase the dose since you said it helped initially on a low dose.
anti- depressants are a pain in that they can take a while to even work, and sometimes when they don't work initially the dr will up the dose to see if that makes a difference, an d then if that doesn't help the dr will switch you to something different. it can take a long long time to find the right medication and the right dosage that is right for you. it can be very frustrating but hang in there!!

Well....first of all , Zyprexa isn't an anti-depressant .....it's an anti- psychotic. So if you are taking it for depression your prescriber has some explaining to do ! It can also have some nasty side effects like wicked weight gain and type 2 diabetes. So I guess I wouldn't be taking it if it was just because I was depressed. If you have other mental issues ...maybe.
There are many great anti-depressants on the market with lo or no side FX. So try talking to your prescriber about getting on one of those if depression is your main complaint. Otherwise you'll just be sleepy and gain weight with what you are taking.

Sometimes an anti-depressant can and does crap out. Talk to your doctor, who might suggest increasing the dose or switching to another antidepressant.

Have you spoken to your prescribing doctor about the problem that you are having? It may be that you need to increase your medication. Sometimes your body creates a tolerance and a higher dosage is needed.

Are you taking them on prescription or just ...
If on prescription consult your psychiatrist. I personally suggest quit it. It's habit forming just like alcohol or dope.
