Yesterday I saw 2 six year olds get into a fight, they were fighting because on of them said "my god is better than your god" and it went from there, how sad.

Chances are(99.9999%), there is no god. Do you mean would the world be better without religion? Definitely.

That kid could have said "my doll is better than your doll" and they would have still gotten into a fight with the same emotions and reactions. Don't look at 6 years old with much strength about God. Their knowledge about God is the same as their knowledge about the Easter bunny or the Tooth Fairy.

This world is becoming more secular every decade. New agers are coming up with more and more ways to "find themselves and their inner peace". So I see God being shoved under the rug more and more. Is our world better today than it was 10 years ago? 25 years ago? 50 Years ago? 200 years ago?

That is sad, but all the supreme gods/forces frmo all religions are basically the same. The ony differences are things that us humans could not know.

But if God did not exist, the earth would be pulled into the sun and we would all burn to death and/or melt. This is because God control natural powers such as gravity.

No. The world would be better without zealots who believe in their god as the "one true God" and shove it down people's throats. The world would be better off without Christians, not god.

Well there is no god, so the question is: would the world be better WITH god? And that depends on the god, i would suppose.

If you mean, would the world be better without the superstitious belief in mythology (aka "god")?? answer: yes.

A world better without God, Lets ask people who suffered under Stalin, or Mao Zedong of china, or Castro.
All of these were atheists. No matter what they claimed.

i cannot believe so many people don't believe in god. how can you see, feel, smell,, hear, love ,have a baby...etc. look around you. how can you not believe and how can you think we would be better off without god? what you really don't believe in is the devil....and what a hold he has on you.

That's kind'a like a Catch-22 question. We *are* without God.

[Edit]: Oh, I see... Yes, better off without religion, *and* better off without baggage (religious history).
