I just saw a report on FOX NEWS, inwhich it shows a bunch of young Democrats holding up signs saying "Fusk the troops!" and burning fake soldiers and US flags. Is this the new Democrat party?

Hope not.
I'm a registered Democrat (isn't everyone a Democrat when they're 18? LOL) and have never seen a need to change my party affiliation. I don't 100% identify with either party and I'll never run for office.... but I digress.
I like to think that most (educated) people are moderates and only a small percentage are ultra liberal Democrats or ultra conservative Republicans. I know I fall in the middle...
Whether the war was justified or not at the beginning, that's a moot point now. It's begun and it must be seen through until mission complete.
Idiots like those you mentioned don't realize how much it damages our country and steels the terrorists' resolve. All they want is some attention and to "belong" to something, but really they're just being played for fools. I'd be willing to bet they have VERY little knowledge of history or foreign affairs much less a sense that they are part of a global community. It must be nice to live in a bubble.
That's this democrat's view anyway.

is it the new deomcrat party. NO! It is the same party of Ted Kennedy, Pellosi and Harry Reid. The anti-war movement in this war is hysterical. there is no reasoning with these people, They are there for the pot and to be paid to moveon.org. IT is only now that America is seeing what democrats truly are and that is pasifist, cowards who run away from a fight and want to negotiate w/everyone. IT is nothing new from these people

u must be G.BUSH himself,,,,,u better stop dreaming of fake victories pal.NOW listen to me....DO u know that we have 45Million American live under poverty line and they sleep in manholes,IS it better to spend Billions of Dollars on this unjustified bloody war or to spend them here,,,DO u know that non of the 19 hijackers was from Iraq,ISN'T true that about 3500 Americans so far came back from Iraq in coffins.
I think people like u should go to Iraq or Afghanistan not innocents Americans.....WE WANT OUR BOYS BACK,TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

I certainly hope not. Whoever is doing that can't be a true American. I am very proud to be an American and am very proud of our troops. Things like that just FEED our enemy. HMMMMM. Maybe we have more than one enemy.
