Does chocolate chip cookies, granola bars, gummy bears, cause pimples? Because I always eat those and I think thats what is causing a few pimples on my cheeks. And these pimples don't contain any of those white stuff in them. They are more like little bumps you cannot get rid of. What should I do to get rid of them?

Being a teenager and what you eat can cause pimples, yes.
Also thyroid problems can cause acne.

You're a teenager, so likely even eating all veggies isn't going to clear up your skin, it's a stage. You need to make sure that you are washing your face in the morning and before you go to bed. If your parents will help you, order Proactiv from TV. Seriously. My 25 year old friend had terrible acne and using the product you would never know his problem. I use it for myself, my husband and my son. If you can't afford the $35ish a month, then go to Walmart for Clearasil Deep Foaming Face Wash, the Cleansing Pads and the bottles of benzoyl peroxide. Even the generic Walmart brand of these products are fine if money is an issue. The best thing you can do though is cleanse your skin often and rub the cleanser in for at least one full minute or more. Good luck! I've been there!

Diet does affect skin to some extent. Most of it though all depends on hormones, heat/humidity, dandruff and other factors. It's good to hear you don't suffer from pus pimples (the "white stuff") as those sometimes leave some scarring. Try a gentle cleanser that is designed to treat acne skin (also please make sure to tone and moisturize afterwards- it is very important to complete the cycle in order to maintain healthy skin). Also use medicated creams to treat acne (such as Clearasil). Exfoliate your skin once a week by using a good facial scrub (Neutrogena makes a great one). Keep hair and hands away from face. Be sure to drink plenty of water (the recommended amount is 8-10 glasses/day), as this will help cleanse your body from the inside. You may also want to throw in half a tomato and half a cucumber in a blender and blend, blend, blend until it's a paste, and then apply it to your face and leave it on for about 20-30 minutes. This will help to sooth and calm your irritated skin. Perhaps twice a month should be good enough. So watch your diet and have a good skin-care routine, and see results in as little as few weeks! Hope that helps :)

I don't know about the food aspect. But, I have the same type of "pimples:...which are really an acne. I have a few that crop up a time or two and they used to last for months.

I finally started using Skinlogics & All Clear Blemish Block spot treatment from BeautiControl and they last a week at the very most...and usually only a day or two now.

If they are really stubborn you could try the All Clear acne line or a combination of both. Great products for that exact problem.

Many people believe that the food you eat will cause pimples and acne but it has never been proven.
Although, watching what you eat is never a bad thing.

A lot of times it can be caused by stress, hormones, or a number of things you pretty much have no control over.

Hope this helps.

Actually, junk food causing pimples is a common misconception. They don't cause you to break out. For those tough to beat pimples, try putting some honey on them and wearing a band-aid overnight. The honey cleans out the pores and keeps them sterile.

I don't know whats causing them, but apply apple cider vinegar to them at night and they should dry up soon. Try to drink more water to balance out all the sugar you're eating, which is probably causing the acne. I eat loads of sugar and i think thats what causes my breakouts.

Possibly, try getting a real hot towel, place it on your face and let it sit, use some facial cleanser and afterwards, place a cold towel on your face, that should help clear up your skin. Works for me.
