The poison that they found in the cat and dog food is a cancer drug and it suppresses the immune system in animals and it inhaibits malignant cells. The poison is call AMINOPTERIN. iT ALSO SAYS THAT IT CAN CAUSE KIDNEY FAILURE IN CATS AND DOGS. It is in the yahoo news.

wow thanks for the info. It's a bit unsettling knowing that this stuff was added to our pet food without first being tested to see if it would hurt the animals. I thought it was something that happened by accident. All those poor animals and their people, it's just such a shame.

You are correct. However it is administered to humans under very strict contolled conditions and under a doctor's supervision.
