Noodles are made out of refined flour so it will have more carbohydrate and calories. Substituting one meal once in a while is okay but try to add lots of vegetables to get nutrients. 100gms of noodles (cooked) give about 131 Kcal.

Depends on what u think is high calories, for some ppl a extra large french fries is not high.... If you dont want to be fat, then dont eat a lot of it. But i think its not that fattening. But a lot of anything is bad lol
