You can't possibly answer that, it really depends on the person and their metabolism. Obviously there are those pricks in the world who can eat all they want and never gain a pound!

It does not work like eating one pund of potato will make you gain wt. A gram of potato will give you 4 calories and if you eat a gram of potato your body will have to spend about 6 to 8 calories to make the same 4 calories Now if you just and do not exercise you may have to eat 1000+ grams of potato .
That will give you over 2 pounds of potato assuming you are totally immobile and do not exert at all If you do exercise the amount of potato you have to consume may be more This is just baked ptotato and not potato chips that are fried and it is whole another story

With no "toppings" -- just plain potatos. It would take well over 70 of them.

There are about 3500 - 3900 calories in a pound of body-weight. Each small potato is about 100 calories, so 35 of them would be a 'pound' of body-weight, BUT you would burn off a certain amount of calories, just eating them and digesting them, and doing normal activities. The amount of calories you burn doing those things depends on who you are, how old you are, how much you weigh, etc.

I would just guess, that if you ate 100 small plain potatoes over a week you might gain a pound. That's a LOT of potatos!
