The name of the poison is called AMINOPTERIN and it is a cancer drug and they are under crimmal investigation and the product produces malignant cells and suppresses the immune system.

The poison was linked to the wheat gluten in the food. Perhaps they were spraying the wheat fields with rat poison to control an infestation, but how stupid not to think that the end product would be poisoned as well.

yea..it's commonly used as a type of rat posion in some countries (but not the U.S.) I'm sorry to everyone that has a pet affected by this :( Hopefully they find the gutless lowlifes resposible for this.

Why was that stuff added to pet food? I can't think of a single reason why they would need to put stuff like that in animal food can you?
