First of don't listen to all the people that are giving you flack for even talking about shrooms. They have been brain washed by society and I'm sure have no real knowledge on the subject. As I'm sure you know they are harmless compared to many other drugs even Alcohol which is far worse for the body, but has been embraced by western society as its drug of choice. As for the mixing of the two I will say two things. I have read many times that the trip is simply better on it own. It won't kill or harm you if you have a couple of drinks but I would still probably advise against it as I have read that it generally slows you down and makes you feel tired during the trip.

I know plenty of people who have mixed the two together and lived to tell about it. :)
I think you'll have a much better shrooms experience without the booze though.
