whenever the tv in the conservatory is on a hear this really high pitched whistling and it really hurts. i asked my mum and dad and they say they cant hear it but i wonder what it is or if the tv is broken? its only about 2 months old please help.im 14

It's the line output stage and it's normal. It makes a noise at about 15KHz which us older types can't hear too well, unfortunately you are young enough to still have good hearing in that range.

It can be interference. It is not suprising that a 14 yo girl can hear high frequency noise that adults can't. High frequencies are lost if you are male and/or old.

i get that, too. it's only the radiation.
