I would say no, because staying with your natural hair is more healthy and black hair can get a little boring. But it is really up to you in the end.

My hair is dark brown, and I've been thinking of trying black.
But I'm going to do one of those 8-10 wash out semi-permanent dyes.
I suggest you try the same.

If you aren't sure about it, you can get a wash-out color first.
If you like it you could dye it permanently.
