Laugh it off, its no big deal. At my wedding my fingers were a bit swollen and my ring wouldn't go on, and it was obvious, so my husband turned to the crowd and asked if anyone had butter. It was so funny everyone laughed and its a good memory from the day.

When you get the chance, slide it to the right finger.
Surely you're ceremony wasn't stopped over this???
A friend of mine, while she was performing a ceremony, dropped the bride's ring and it fell between the cracks of the gazebo's floor boards. Had to find a maintenance man to pull up the boards to get the ring after the ceremony.

Well, if it did happen at our wedding, it would only match when he first put it on me! lol. A bit of deja-vu! :P ... I laughed at the time, and I'm sure I'd be giggling then too! Not a big deal, if anything - gives you another reason to remember it with a humerous twist as well as a cute story! ;)
