We're ready to rehome this puppy, and I hate to give up. 5 month old female Pomerianian, apparently doesn't empty her bladder when she goes. Example, goes on rug, we run her outside, she goes again, then once again once back in the house. Walk her every 30 minutes, she has peed about 7 times in the last 2/12 hours. What's going on? No hope?

Sounds like a urinary tract infection or bladder stones. Have your vet take a look asap.

First, take her to a vet - it could be a urinary condition. BUT, don't give up on her. I understand that small dogs take a lot longer to housebreak. My beautiful Pekingese took about 5 months too...Do you use puppy pads. That may help in the house. My puppy would go on the puppy pads and at least confine it in the house, but to get her to totally start going outside, we had to remove the puppy pads. Now she goes outside and doesn't have any accidents. So be patient. It may take even longer, but if you keep working with her, you can train her. Patience is the key word.

She may have a bladder infection or another problem, take her to the vet. She's also a puppy, and dogs aren't usually fully houstrained until around 1 year old, depending on the dog. Perhaps you could get some of those puppy pads and train her to use those while she's inside.

my basset hound had the same problem. she was never diagnosed with a bladder infection but we just think she wasn't ready to potty-train. we bought her a dog house and put hay/straw inside and all around it and put her on a lead for a few months. we went on a trip and while we were gone we took her to a kennel, when we got back, the trainer said she was definitely ready to potty train. so we brought her in the house and kept taking her outside to potty regularly and she is currently doing great. maybe your pom just isn't ready to train yet, maybe she just needs some time.

It sounds like she probably has a bladder infection, or a urinary tract infection. Your only hope, is to get her to a veterinarian, so she can be properly diagnosed and treated.

Pomeranian are very small so no they can not hold it like other bigger dogs can.But maybe also you need to talk to your vet to make sure she doesn't have a health problem. My daughter has one and for as old as she is she can not hold long and has accidents.

Just send her to me if you decide to get rid of her.
