after a bunch of different diagnosis's, the dr thinks i might have had ringworm on my face. I was using my makeup during the outbreak to try to cover up the redness because at first he just thought it was a food allergy---so now will have to buy all new makeup???

if it was indeed ringworm, then yes. You don't want to reinfect yourself.

ringworm is really easy to test by putting it under a black light. i don't know why they are having trouble figuring it out.

listen to the doctor.

and if you have any pets, have them checked out, too. pets are very often the culprits.

You will probably laugh at this but I know these facts , #1ringworm's are a fungus and iodine is a very effective treatment and #2 goats are chronic carriers of this fungus.Anyone who is near them will eventually get it.It is a occupational hazard in caprine care.I hope this will help.

Ringworm is a fungus infection. The fungus has probably contaminated your current cosmetics. I would toss them out. Once the fungus is killed, you can resume the use of cosmetics.
