Didn't he ever consider writing in his Will that she gets NONE of DEI??? She really has ruined the program.

He wanted her to have it. If he wanted his children involved, then that is what would have been done.

How can you say she has ruined the program. Teresa Earnhardt is the main reason Dale Sr. was as successful off the track as he was on the track. She was his partner in DEI before he died. She is the partner with the business sense. It was her ideas and knack for business that made them both rich.
No matter what you think, Dale Jr. will never have the drive that his father has. He has never been poor. He has never had to build a race car from junk and scrap.
By the way she was "married" to Dale Sr. not 'merried".

Dale, Sr. was very much in love with his wife. Go back and watch same of his old races and you can tell how close they were. As far as Theresa making a mess of DEI, she can do no worse than anyone else. Times have changed and it takes a lot more money than it use to and trying to keep up with technology. Dale, Jr. doesn't have the same aggressiveness and hard drive that Sr. had. And why would he not want his wife to have any of DEI when they both worked together to make it what it is.

What has hurt DEI the most was the loss of its driving force, the "Man".
No doubt that Teresa is a hard-nosed business woman and hard to deal with.
It took Jr. dickering with her quite a while to get the rights to his own name. She finally relented.
Jr. currently has no, notta, zip ownership in DEI. They are still negotiating. If I'm not mistaken, in negotiations you always ask for more than you will settle for, so Jr. would most likely settle for some minority portion or be working to secure an interest in the company for his half-siblings as his negotiating position is much stronger than theirs, currently, except one.
Senior wanted DEI to benefit all his children and Teresa is well aware of that. Under the current structure the child most likely to reap the most benefit is the one child Teresa did bear, Taylor Nicole. This is where her motherly instincts come to the fore and you can't fault her for that.
She will not relinguish control for that reason as Taylor is her first priority.
Around these parts, Cabarrus County, NC where Kannapolis, Dale's hometown and Concord, where Lowes Motor Speedway is located, she does have a bit of a reputation as being a b***h.
Kannapolis wanted to call the block where Dale's statue is located, a memorial. At her insistance, it is called a tribute.
It was her way or no way! Folks around Kannapolis always felt as if she looked down on the mill town.
Well, its not a mill town any longer. All the mills are closed and the buildings demolished. The town is being converted into a Research Campus associated with UNC and the food industry. The old Williamsburg style downtown will be converted into an upscale shopping district.
No more "lint heads" in K-town.
Dale was always proud to be from Kannapolis and he would be even prouder to know that Kannapolis has escaped the death penalty and prouder still that they had to bump a few people out of the way to get it done.

Well like alot of people has answered she is not the B**** that you think she is. It is her right to do with that company as she pleases. Dale Jr needs to earn his way there. The only reason DEI was getting at the top of the game was Dale Sr. He was DEI and Jr would never be able to bring it back to where it was. They need better people in there to get them back to where they where. Jr needs to quit jumping the crews tail and work with them to get the job done. If he leaves DEI and goes with childress I beleive he would have better luck but not as good as he was having when Sr. was alive.

Dale Sr Didnt marry a B**** as you say He did.And if she is such a B*** then its her rights to be one. Just Like if YOU owned all she has gotten after his death then that would Make YOU a B***** too I don't know where you people get all your information but I think you all need to do some researching on Nascar.YOU get out there and RUN a Nascar team and put up with all the BS that they do everyday and every week at a race.why don't you go take over DEI and see how many People call YOU a B****

He didn't marry a B*****. She's trying to run a multimillion dollar company and her most visible employee is throwing a hissy fit. JR and the media have tried to make a spectacle out of this issue in order to take your mind off of Jr's non-existent racing skills. Do you think he'll race any better of he's his own boss? Do you think he'll be a better racer if he has another 50 million dollars? Get real!! He's been bounced out the upper NASCAR slots by better racers. Bobby Labonte is a better racer than Jr and look where he is. It's not your father's NASCAR anymore.

cause dale jr is a bum and shouldnt be part of dei dale sr he was a bit of a rebel but a nice guy he got married lived his life they way he wanted. and know one worried about dei then.

I didn't know know she ruined the program. It's been pretty sh*tty since DAY 1, other than the restrictor plate tracks. I say DEI and HOF Racing need to merge. Let Aikman run DEI!

She wasn't a B***** when he married her. She's being that way now because Jr. wants whats his. And by the way.....she didnt run the whole show. Kelly ( Jr's sister ) was the brains behind most of what DEI did financially. Now she's a B***** because she can be.

dale earnhardt made DEI.teresa didnt make DEI like she thinks she did!
dale jr hasnt raced worth a **** since she took over.and i am a jr. fan. and she is runnin him in the ground.
