Just so you know shelter animals are not free. I worked for the ASPCA. There is an adoption fee and it is different from place to place, in SA it is $80. They also do an application process and you must qualify to get one. Your best bet would be to call your local vet facilities. They often times give away kittens or have numbers of those that want to give them away. Otherwise look in your local paper's classifieds under the giveaway or free section. Shelters! You can find lots of kitten and adult cats that would love a new home. Some people who live on farms give away kittens that the barn cats have, so if you know anybody who lives in the country, ask them.

look on line, or the classifed ads. there are lots of people always giving away free kittens no matter where you are. also, make sure that the kitten has been checked by a vet before you get one, because there are all kinds of bad people out there that trick people into taking free pets that are sick.

I live in Illinois and I'm sure there are as many free kittens there as there are here. All you have to do is look: newspapers, shelters, rescue agencies, local animal shelter and ask people. I bet someone right around the corner from where you live is looking to give one away right now. Good luck.

Go to your local animal shelter. You will have to pay an adoption fee, but that fee covers spay/neuter, all shots, worming, vaccinations, any medical care the cat may have needed, plus perks like a bag of food, coupons, etc. The cost of adoption is negligible when compared to what you would pay for the same services from a veterinarian.

What part of PA do you live in??? My sister has several kittens she is trying to give to a good home for FREE....she has too many cats and now too many kittens.... if you live in SE PA you can have as many as you want for FREE!!!!

check petsmart or any other local pet stores...they may have ads for kittens looking for a new home. if not, check an animal shelter, you could get one for a low price.
