UTI

Urinary Tract Infection

Could be an STD, Could be Kidney, Bladder, ureter, urethra. Any number of things. The MD should be able to tell you because there are other things (casts, crystals, etc).

Your urinalysis needs to be read by an MD. Good luck

You did not mention how many white cells are present? Generally white cells (pus cells) less than 5 are not significant (source: CMDT) Becoz few white cells invariably creep out of our urinary system and are then seen in urine. If your white cell count in urine exceeds this arbitrary limit of 5 or so, you should be worried specially if you have symptoms of fever with chills, burning urination or frequency of urine etc., as this is then suggestive of UTI (urinary tract infection) which is an umbrella term used to cover infections starting anywhere from kidney to the ureter & bladder

Few cells e.g 2to3 are treated as normal, but numerous white cells are highly suggestive of Urinary Tract Infection.
Symptoms can be like burning micturation or pain in flanks Renal area, or sub umbilical pain.
You will have to go an ultrasound of kidneys, ureters, and Bladder (KUB) +residual urine.
Next is urine C/S (culture and sensitivity).
THE DISEASE SHOULD BE TREATED AT A VIGOROUS LEVEL BY YOUR DOCTOR.
