unfortunatly you cannot give your cat anything for pain, It needs to see a vet to properly set the leg if anything is broken or dislocated. The vet will give you pain medicine.
This need immediate attention. If your regular vet is not open, please take it to a 24 hour emergency vet clinic.

There is nothing, you can give your cat, for pain. Giving a cat or dog, any kind of human medication, unless directed to do so, by a vet, is a very big NO NO! You could do serious harm or god forbid, even kill a pet if a veterinarian does not tell you, it's ok. I can't begin to understand, why you did not, take your cat to the vet, as soon as this happened. The poor thing, must be in such excruciating pain. If you really love your cat, I would suggest you get off Answers, and go now! There has almost positively been some damage done to his leg, and he needs to see a vet now, before the damage becomes permanent, if it hasn't already.

Never give acetometiphen to a cat.... it is HIGHLY toxic! Even a quarter tablet can kill a cat. You need a feline painkiller, and the only place you are going to get that is a veterinarian.
Do you have a regular vet? If so, many of them will come in special or do evening calls for established patients. If not, find a small animal emergency office and take your cat there. They will do an x-ray to make sure there is no bone damage, and will give her a painkiller, and likely antibiotics as well. The emergency service will do the exact same thing as your regular vet, so I would take your cat asap. After all, you wouldn't be too comfortable if you got hit by a car and had to wait a day to see a dr.

There are 24 hour emergency Vet hospitals !
Don't give the Cat acetaminophen ! Like Tylenol... It is toxic to cats!
Call a Vet and ask them if they will come in for an emergency if there isn't a 24 hour open.

There's nothing you can give, if the leg got run over, it's probably broken and only a heavy duty pain killer, plus proper care, is going to take care of that.
Take the cat to emergency if you're vet is closed. Waiting is just making him suffer.

You poor thing! Everyone is yelling at you and telling you you're a horrible owner for not taking her to an emergency vet. I didn't even know they existed! Not every town has that available, so shame on everyone for judging you.
I hope that your kitty heals quickly. I would suggest placing her in a quiet spot until you can get her to vet. Try not to let her get excited or jostled. Keep her away from other pets and/or children.
Animals are far stronger than humans give them credit for; after all, they've been around longer than we have, and they have their own coping techniques for injuries--they come naturally to them.

NEVER GIVE YOUR CAT PEOPLE MEDICINE. I cannot stress this enough. Unless your cat has had injuries before and you have medicine on hand, do not medicate her. Instead, make sure her leg isn't walked on, perhaps wrap it in blankets and watch her for signs of shock. These are: Dilated pupils, difficult or laboured breathing, cardiac arrest, vomiting , nausea, and fever. If she has any of these at any point, call the vet emergency center. In fact, you should probably call them now, because this is an emergency! Whew. Hope I helped.

really no safe pain meds to give a injured dog with out knowing the extent of the injury. Aspirin is a blood thinner and could cause more bleeding inside the tissues just wait until you can take him to the vet just to make sure before you give him any thing.

awww poor kitty
um i would suggest wrap it up in a bandage, or if you dont feel confident enough for that just sit it in a quiet spot, and keep checking to see if it ok during the night
make sure its getting enough water so its hydrated and help it go to the toilet
im no expert but im not sure about any pain killers
and the vet would be a very good place for you to vist first thing in the morning
good luck, and much love

Some people should not own pets. You should be at the vet as we speak. Take the poor thing to the vet he may be in severe pain and can't tell you how bad it hurts.
