My mom allows me to have my boyfriend over when no one is home, but it really seems to bother my sister. I don't have sex with my boyfriends, and I am not planning on it. How do I let her know that she has nothing to be worried about?

Talk to her about. Sisters should always be friends and have good communication. If you are shy about the topic, send her an e-mail or write her a letter and let her know what is going on. I'm sure she will appreciate it...

Depending on your age, I don't think it's appropriate to have boyfriends over when your mom's not home. That's just the mom in me speaking, but every case is different and I'm certainly not your mother. My other question is what is it exactly that bothers your sister? Is she worried that you're going to end up pregnant or get hurt? Maybe she just doesn't like your boyfriend! It seems like there's a lot more cons than pros about this situation and if I were you, I'd just stop inviting the boyfriend over when your mom's not there. Besides, people say nasty things about girls who let their guys come over unsupervised. Believe me, I know firsthand!

Who? Your sister?

Listen kid...you sound as though you have a good head on your shoulders for a kid. In addition, your mother no doubt feels the same because she allows you to have the boyfirned over.
So...your sister should realize that if your mother has faith and trust in you she should as well.

A word to the wise kid...never do anything to violate that trust. Especially when it comes to parents. It takes a long, long time to get that trust back and it never comes back and is like it was before.
Smart girl. I commend you.

Well is this sister younger or older? She might look up to you and be jealous of the time your boyfriend takes you away from her. Try talking to her and see what she is feeling.. dig deep.

First of all you need to thank your sister for caring about you. Then you and your sister need to sit down and you need to tell her to stop worrying about you .You also need to show her that everything will be ok.You also need to listen to what she is telling you and I mean really listen to her.

From a friend that cares.

Sit her down and assure her of the situation. Make sure she understands everything and let her speak also she may let you know why she's so worried.
