I'm baking some cupcakes with twinkie filling and it says 1/2 cup of butter but i don't feel like melting it. So please hurry and asnwer this asap!!!!!!!!!! I need to finish the filling before my mom gets home and shell be here in 10 minutes! HELP!

16 tablespoons in a cup. A stick of butter is equal to half a cup.

if it's a stick of Butter - a stick is 1/2 cup.

Well - I know there are three tabelspoons in a quarter cup, so 4x3 = 12!! Twelve tablespoons per cup. Will you send me a twinkie?!?! :)
