Why does creation license control?

God's creation is perpetually dependent on Him. If God were to cease to sustain us, we would simply cease to exist. If you create something in a lab, it can exist without you. It is not absolutely dependent. God is the sustainer and creator of the whole universe.

Not only would you have the right to hold dominion over it, you would have the right to reproduce that life. If you were lucky enough to create flammable life, you could reproduce millions of these little guys, in order to have a constant energy source. In essence you would have an everlasting fire.

If you really were mean, you could let a few of them live with you for eternity, of course then they would know that their buddies were burning in pain, and might be a little bummed out.

I could conceive a child in a lab on a desk - that doesn't mean I can hold dominion over my child. Once something is born of this world - it belongs to the world - and everything that comes along with it.

Look at parents, you create a life, after 18 years it belongs to itself, so that gives you almost two decades.

I would assume so, depending on the ethical guidelines of the scientists involved in their experiment, and their prior contracts with any authority (company, etc).

I say science is like an art. You make it; it's yours, unless you've already sold the product to somebody else.

Create new life from what?

Reminds me of that old joke about the atheist talking to God and saying he could create a man too, it wasn't that hard. So God says to go ahead and the man scoops up a handful of dirt to begin ... and God says "Ahem, make your own dirt".
