2 cups butter
24 oz. chocolate chips
4 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 8 oz. Hershey Bar (grated)
5 cups blended oatmeal
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)
Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine powder.
Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla,
mix together with flour,oatmeal,salt, baking powder,and soda.
Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar, and nuts.
Roll into balls, and place two inches a part on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies.
I got this from a friend, who got it from a friend. I haven't tried it yet but apparently it's very delicious. The recipe can be halved.

heres the recipe i use and they are wonderful
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups all-purpose flour
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, combine soften butter with shortening, sugar and brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 min. Note: I take them out of the oven before they start to turn dark! Do not double this recipe, or they don't bake soft. Can make this recipe for bars too. Spread dough into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake them at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15-20 minutes.

This recipe is awesome I use it all the time.
2 sitcks plus 2/3 stick of butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
dash of salt
1 1/2 packages of choc. chips (I like to mix milk and semisweet chocolates)
combine butter through vanilla in bowl and mix on high speed until creamy. Add flour, baking soda and salt, mix until combined. Add choc. chips. Bake at 350 on cookie sheet for 8-12 min (depending on how soft/crispy you like the cookies). Thats it! Simple and delicious. I get rave reviews every time

These are the perfect chocolate chip cookies...everything you want in a cookie ENJOY!!
2 cups all-purpose flour (280 gms)
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (20 gms)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled until warm (170 gms)
1 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark, 236 gms)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk, from a large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet, milk chocolate or any combination, 300 gms)
1 cup of chopped walnuts (114 gms) (optional)
Place oven racks in the upper and lower 1/3's of the oven.
Pre-heat oven to 325°F.
Cover 2 large cookie sheets with parchment paper Mix flour, baking powder & salt in a bowl or bag and set aside.
Mix butter and sugars with with a mixer until blended and smooth, add egg, yolk & vanilla.
Mix until incorporated.
Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Stir in chips and optional nuts.
Divide into 18 equal balls, a 2" cookie scoop works just about perfectly, about 60 gms each.
EVENLY space 9 on each cookie sheet.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, rotating front to back and top to bottom after 8 minutes.
Cool on sheets to maintain chewy texture.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
2 cups Crisco
2 cups white sugar
2 cups brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
4 eggs
1 bag chocklate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cream Crisco and sugars. Add vanilla. Beat, mix flour and soda. Add to creamed sugar and vannila alternating with the beaten eggs. Rollinto balls. Press with a fork. Bake at 350°F 8 minutes on the second rack in oven.

Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
scant 1/2 cup sugar
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
2 large eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 12 oz. package semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
Method
Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in medium blow using wire whisk. Set aside. Mix sugar in bowl of electric mixer on medium speed. Add butter, beat until grainy paste forms. Beat in eggs and vanilla on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture and chocolate chips. Beat on low speed just until mixed. Do not overmix.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake until golden brown, about 22 minutes. Transfer cookies to cooling rack.
