to someone she thought was a friend...BUT THAT PERSON WAS NOT>>>>and went and told the neighbor...the neighbor was not mad, but just decided to approach the other person who said.."I did NOT say that!!"....I think the morale to the story...is never tell the source what one had said about them...BECAUSE IT COULD GET YOU IN TROUBLE....JUst let it go!!!...GOSSIP...THAT IS BAD...BUT we all do it...what is your opinion?

I never tell anyone anything that I don't want spread around. I learned that WAY back in high school. NOBODY will keep a secret.

I actually have a neighbor who has called me at work to tell me someone is walking by my house... or called me at home to tell me someone is parked outside my house.. on a busy public street! She has also called to tell me that someone is moving in next door.. or moving out. Someone has been parked there for awhile.. should we be worried!!! I mean I think you will always have a person in the neighbor hood that is this nosey or just doesnt have anything else to do besides gossip.. or stir up Something! We are all aware of this and really try to ignore it! I think if something was said about me to another neighbor that was not true.. I would just simply approach that person and let them know what I said or didnt! I hope people would do the same with me :)

Everybody says they never say bad things about other people behind their backs. Everybody is lying. Gossip is an important part of every culture I have ever heard of, so don't sweat it either way.

Im always gossiping and sometimes i do get into trouble, but who cares...the person will get over it! :)

you can't control what others do, and i have enough to do just keeping myself in order... so what others do and say is not my prob. I ignore them.
