My best advice is to wait untill after the pregnancy. your mood swings during the pregnancy will have you continually re-evaluating any potential decent man that comes along. But if you insist on finding one now, look for someone who is kind and genuine, and someone who will accept the baby when it comes along.
I would not tolerate any form of abuse, physical, emotional, or verbal.
I would not tolerate any deadbeats just looking for a free ride.
I would not tolerate an already married man or one who is just separated, but not divorced from his wife.

Ownestly good luck on finding a good one. There are several out there but they have usually been cheated on by an x, which then its harder to get to know the guy. Well dont tolerate getting hit, being cheated on, verbal abuse. Cause if you child sees it then he or she will grow thinking its ok and thats how it should be. Its not ok even tho some times it will be lonely there is a person for you, you just got to be patient which is hard i know. Good luck.

I think it is key to know your deal breakers and your red flags. My deal breakers are for sure the following:
drugs, addictions, rage problems ie driving out of control and taking out aggression on physical objects, unwise with money, unwilling to have kids, too tall, unkind to other people in anyway when we are out or about.
Red flags: Fudges the truth when unneccesary, too controlling with my time, clingy, uses his emotional outbursts to get me to do what he wants.
It is good to think about what you can handle, and what you absolutely refuse to live with.
