Well I have to say from workign as a hairstylist the best product that I have ever come across in the 7 years I have been doing this would have to be Redken"s Extreme Anti-snap. It helps mend split ends and keeps them from coming back! Now of course you can't expect to never have split ends but this product is one of my salon's best sellers. It runs about $15 and one bottle should last about 2-3 months. You put it right on your ends and work you way up the to your scalp!

"Its IMPOSSIBLE to repair ends once they are split, so don't be tempted by products that promise to glue them back together. The reuslts will only luast until the next time you brush. The only way to cure a case of split ends is to cut them off. FOr damage control, tightly twist a section of split hair: All the bad ends will stick out ready to be snipped away."
And that's the honest truth.

A deep moisturising shampoo and conditioner will help. And there are some many creams, sprays, gellz, and serums, I'm not even going to get into that. But it's out there. and some of it helps.
But basically, you see split ends? It's time for a trim. That's how it works. (for me at least)
