This question is deeper than it looks. Think about it, Christians.

OK...the answer is that all people look for patterns in nature. Christians are predisposed to think of Christian religious imagery and so they are more likely to see Jesus when he's not there. But, they are also likely to see the work of God in nature when it's not there, and see the work of God in mental experiences when it's not there.

It is quite obvious that you have not had Yak meat lately, or you would not ask this.
The real reason, of course, is that it is Tibetans, not Mongolians, that eat Yak meat.

Because the Mongolians don't see it as Jesus, they see it as Confucius. It's subject to cultural interpretation. The people who see Jesus do so because they want to see Jesus, not because he's there.

then why not simply ask : why do some blame God for the death of a loved one when the loved one died because he didn't follow his doctors orders? Where some see the work of God or the devil - others see logic.

The Mongolians see images of Confucius in their yak meat when they eat it with their tea with melted yak butter in it.
Aren't you glad that WE and OUR culture have the ONLY true god, oh yes, praise his name, and all the others are FAKES.
