I am a Tax Assessor in Michigan. There must be differnt ways the states tax things, in Michigan Banks, Churches, and hospitals are all Tax Exempt. Real Proprerty, Income Tax and sales Tax. I think they shaould all be Taxed, it would ease the burden on the rest of us? Any objections?

I don't think Churches pay tax. And I support the call for all these banks, churches and hospitals to pay tax. they make so much money and should give back to the community in form of taxes which will greatly reduce the burden on the rest of us.

They all do pay tax.

They all pay taxes on "unrelated business income" activities. And they also pay payroll taxes. And not just withholding, either. They have to pay unemployment taxes as well.
