In my own personal opinion . . .cloning humans is attempting to play God. Not a good idea in my book. No, I don't think He would approve. Just a hunch.

God would neither approve nor disapprove. Not only can Science clone man. But soon Science will be able to create life itself. Something your fantasy God was never able to do.

i do no longer comprehend what to make of god, and that i do no longer comprehend what to make of cloning, the two. i'm the two religiously and ethically agnostic. on the only hand, messing with DNA might desire to offer some incredible consequences. shall we do away with illnesses, breed for the ideal features, clone the ideal people who ever lived, etc. on the different hand, shall we inadvertently screw up the excellent human genome interior the technique. i think of an identical element approximately human cloning that i think of approximately issues like synthetic intelligence. it would be incredible and incredible technologies to have and to apply, yet they're additionally somewhat risky concepts to be toying with. very like nuclear potential -- oh so powerful, yet oh so deadly all on an identical time. human beings have already shown that in case you provide them nuclear potential, they are going to use it to make bombs. Do you think of we are in a position to be relied on with cloning and AI? it extremely isn't even taking into consideration the non secular element, as in, "does cloning a guy or woman wreck the soul" or what have you ever. with the help of an identical token, what approximately synthetic intelligence? Does a self-conscious robotic have a "soul"? with the help of "becoming" and manipulating life, have we (human beings) exchange into gods? Are we entitled to this potential? Are we responsible adequate to wield it? i do no longer comprehend.

It's the progression of science and we shouldn't let religious beliefs stop science from progressing. If "god" doesn't like it he will judge people after they die. If you're against it don't do it but why stop others?
