Can trial software only be used one time and that's it, or will it work if it is installed on a different computer. I need a textbook for class, which comes with a trial of Nutritionist Pro. I can get the book used, or new. If I buy the used one, chances are the trial software has already been installed on the previous owners computer, and expired. So does that mean it just expired for him, or expired all together and won't work for anyone? Thanks

The software that you are getting with schools textbooks have a time frame on them but it is for each time it is installed. The software puts tag(for lack of better decription) in your computer and keeps track of the time. It also does not delete when you remove the software from your computer. That way it stops people from just removing it and reinstalling it to never have to purchase it.
So to answer your question no the time did not expire and you can use the software from a used book.

It expires on the computer it was installed. If you install it in another, it is a fresh trial.

Q to you is: If you find it so useful, why not buy it.? Isn't that the purpose of a trial. Just asking....

You should be asking this question at the help option of the website listed by the publisher of the textbook.

A trial is to see if you like the software and is what you need. If you like it and want to use it, then purchase the product.

Its like a "test drive" for a car.
