And because of the religious inquisition that forced people to adopt this religion, was it wrong because it was forced upon the people and would Jesus not say you are here by force, therefore I know you not.

I know this is a hard question, but it was forced on the people and this we can not forget, you personally did not by force, but the history is there and can not be discredited.

If they are worshipping their religion or the heads of their religion instead of God - then yes, absolutely.

I think you are referring to Islam. Islam was spread by the sword (force). Convert or die! mentality.

You can't tag a whole faith by some small point in history. Should all Americans be put in prison for their ancestors allowing slavery? Every Religion has one form of a brutal history or another. We, as Christians, believe those who acted in that way did not understand the faith at all. Just because someone is wearing another man's coat and robs a bank, does not mean that the owner of the coat is guilty. It means that the person, even though they may have looked the part, was not the man.

I don't think anyone is a Christian by force today. If I am allowed the privilage of becoming a Christian because one of my ancestors was forced to be... thank God.

Whether one was forced or one just fakes it when it is only an adopted religion Hell is the price. You only escape hell by way of a relationship with Christ.

Unfortunately, a lot of Christians will end up in hell, but it won't be because someone "forced" the religion on them. It will be because they didn't love Jesus Christ with their whole hearts by living out the message. Most other folks will end up in hell because they never accepted the free gift of salvation that Christ offers us.

The True Christian Faith can not be imposed upon any one... that would be against The Word and Will of God... The inquisition was not carried out by Christians.. and God did not let it succeed... nor did he allow the crusades to succeed... or any other attempt by man to impose by force, any portion of His Word or Will.

Any who come to God, of their own free will, in The Way He prescribes... and ONLY in The Way He prescribes... will enter Heaven.

Force is the way of islam not God
