I don't think you can lighten your hair with this unless you use a pre lightener beforehand.If you want a lighter colour you should get it done at the hairdressers rather than doing it at home.

I have very dark hair and I used the hair dyes your talking about, that are meant to lighten dark hair. They really worked. Much more noticeable than other dyes. Got fed up with the roots coming through though. You should definitely try it if you want lighter hair.

are you sure you don't want to look into having it professionally done? I have know too many sistas who have had problems after trying to lighten their own hair. cause most times it needs to be stipped first. then DEEP conditioned. and if something were to go wrong, you would be better off having a level headed and professional point of view

Yes that will work . L'oreal is very good with its products and rarely goes wrong. Always read instuctions before use.
