I have ran into the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in the supermarket twice in the last month. I am recently divorced and way out of practice in meeting new people. I feel very weird approaching a woman in a supermarket. So, ladies, let me know. Is this acceptable or just creepy?

A guy approached me while I was clothes shopping with a friend, it literally creeped me out. He didn't even give me his number just free tickets to a movie theater he works at. I kinda felt sorry for him, but it was just a weird way to be approached.

Umm, if you just went up to her and was like, "Hi my name is..." it would be weird, b/c you're in a supermarket and it's not really something you'd expect to happen, so yeah it would be kinda creepy... but if you can somehow make small talk with her instead of being upfront, that won't be as creepy. I think it would still be weird to me, though. But hey, you only live once, give it a shot - what if it works?

Not creepy. Well all depends how u approach the person but if you're nice and cool and not acting weird lol this is perfectly fine.

I read Men's Health magazine and the places they say its ok to make a cold approach is coffee shop, beach, grocery store, and bar. Never approach a woman on a sidewalk. You have the green light according to men's rules.

It is flattering but I am the type of person who hates to grocery shop so I am in and out as fast as I can be.....That's why my fiance will do it for me cause he doesn't mind it......Anyway I wouldn't have the time and day for you to strike up conversation because my focus would be on getting in and getting out......But hey she is she and I am me so it would be worth a try eh???

I think it's absolutely fine depending on your approach. I think it won't be creepy unless you use some cheesy stupid line like, "Do you like cucumbers?"
