Yes. You are smarter than even a VERY SMART dog! (Think about it. For example, what have dogs invented? Are any dogs chemists, or physicians, etc. etc.)

There are different types of "smarts". Inventing something is on type of smart, and being able to track down drugs in a very busy airport is truely another. So yes, I can read a book, and that makes me smarter than my dog in that aspect, but she can sniff out my cat who is playing with her in two seconds flat, so she is smarter than me that way So I guess it just depends on what kind of smarts we are talking about.

I sometimes wonder. I mean I feed them, pay all their bills, wash them. pick up their poo, walk them, take care of their health, train them. I don't know if I'm smarter, but I definitely want to come back as a dog in my next life.

Scientifically, yes. If you mean, seeing hearing tasting and things like that? Then of course not...but if you mean as in intelligence? Yes. Humans are more intelligent then canines.

i think we are pretty even, i mean i run about after him and feed him, care for him etc and pretty much do whatever he needs which is prtty dumb on my part but he licks his own butt and chases his tail. you judge.
