so it IS a competition! that's what evangelizing is all about!
there's no competition in "live and let live" is there?! leaving people alone is just sooooo lame
praise interference!!!

I guess if I take that literally I should say "sorry I'm a loser" because I'm "only Jewish".
But I'm not taking it literally yet I will say, just in case, that you have remember the entire religion of Christianity is based on Judaism and, in fact, even Christ is/was Jewish...although, at and after his time, the way people "sacrificed" to G-d evolved tremendously (such as in no material sacrifices by humans and more trust on G-d's part...except in odd cases such as Joeb, for example).
Let me put it this way, yes, living in the image of G-d feels great, to be on that winning team doing acts of good, and Christ is an example of a man of great deeds.
Along with that idea, though, comes the fact that just because G-d + Jesus or another prophet in a religion (for example Mohammed) excuses us for being grossly unholy in so many ways does not automatically grant us salvation for believing in them.
It is the people who can both admit their faults and have the determination to put good acts in their place, to the best of their ability, who are the true winners. Such strong and holy people have a place in G-d's heart regardless of their religion.
If Jesus makes you believe though, that's great: the point is that you are inspired toward G-d's will, and work with the best of your abilities/family/friends/community(churches/synogogue/temple
/mosque/etc.) to make living in G-d's image a reality.

Becoming a true Christian is the best decision anyone can make. Think about it. God has put up with mankind for thousand of years. We as a race, human, have let Him down so many times. It even grieved God that He has created us in the first place seeing how we let Him down every step of the way.
Now, after all these years, God sends His Saviour to take our place and He God in the flesh His Word Jesus Christ offers Himself up for payment so that we because of God's love for His Children can have salvation.
There is a condition though. God gives everyone even the people that lived from the time of Adam to the time of Christ Jesus to the time that we live in, the final generation, to make a choice to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour, and repent of our sins, and turn away and walk the walk that God shows us.
We choose to be winners. We Choose Christ. There is no one living on this planet today that does not know the name of Jesus Christ.
So yes it feels good, but this is something we should not gloat over. Rejoice in that your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life.><>

How can you feel good about so many others being "lost" even if Christians are on the "winning" team?

Hell yes. sometimes I feel bad for all the others I have tormented but this is what the bible teaches us to do. Going to church and being forgiven makes all the miss-deeds I did the previous week seem worth it. I never knew it could be so much fun to hurt others and be rewarded in return. I used to think I was a nobody but then religion taught me even though I am nowhere in life I can make myself better simply by making others worse. Praise God! or else
