You can go to galls.com which sell the actual video cameras to police or you can go to an RV retailer and get a rear backup camera mount it to look forward and run the signal from the camera through a 12volt car video recorder instead of the monitor or throough both monitor and recorder. NOTE check with your local laws to make sure its legal in your area. in some cases it is in some cases you need to notify anyone using the car of the device and/or put a sticker on the car saying that there is a recording device and in some cases it may not be legal.
