I've got tickets to Leeds Festival 07 and last time I went (05) you weren't allowed to take any drinks into the main arena. I can only image that the prices have increased so any idea's would be welcome!

Bearing in mind they do not allow any type of bottle to be taken in, and pat every1 down and search all bags!! Now do you see the dilemma?

Last year me and some mates went 2 a festival - same dilema!! But 2 of my mates are nurses and they nicked some cathader bags which we filled with vodka and taped to our inside lower calfs!! We were allowed to bring in soft drink bottles so long as tops were removed (they had to be previously unopened and lids given to stewarts.) Worked a treat for us but admittingly it could backfire!! - Plus as girls we werent fully frisked just arms / waist and bag search

Well theirs no way! if security is tough in the entrance you cant! unless you take a bottle and you stickied up your a** but that's not a great idea best thing to do is to drink as much of alcohol you could before entering the festival.

We go early and party in the parking lot before hand ! By the time you get in ,you won't need anything ! { If ya do it right } ! I know it is very expensive to buy their drinks, but if you do what I said , you can keep drinks to a minimal by just "drinking when your thirsty " ! It's easier to " smoke " in a concert ,than drink ! Good Luck !

I wouldn't patronize any establishment that does patdowns, but if I wanted to sneak booze into such a place, I'd go with a flask in the groin area.

Wear it under minimul clothing, so it looks like you don't have anything, take a bag and offer it to the security when you get to the gate, can's are tricky, spirits can be put in a bladder, available at all good camping stores.
You can also get packet drinks like Vodka at fisherman stores.

I went to a festivel in 1990 (in Cumbria) that had no bar at all!!! We had to bribe (threaten!) one of the t-shirt stall holders to go out and smuggle us some booze in. They came back with two 3 litre flaggans of vodka and orange, which did the job! Nightmare!

You could try to tape a hot water bottle under your arm. You know the red flat ones used to put hot water in to warm a bed, etc.

you didn't specify what kind of security measures they take there, if you can bring bags in, if you get patted down or metal detectors...i will assume worst case scenario, in that event i would try using the bladder from a camelback water pack, its flexible and could be taped somewhere on your body (thigh perhaps) to avoid detection but still has tubing attached for sneaky/easy sippin'.

If your a woman put some vodka into thick plastic bags and use them like chicken fillets in your bra, fellas do the same but in your undies.

Good luck.
