The question appears to focus on prayer as a way to get stuff. Perhaps a mathematical report would answer such a question.

If prayer were to be defined as conversing with God without the "asking for stuff" agenda would a mathematical report be appropriate?

I am fascinated by mathematics and logic but see some limitations. Aren't faith, prayer, spirituality immeasurable qualities?

My parents taught me thru watching them .how to pray, for example.
they got on there knees and asked should they go ahead and sell the house,
no.
then they asked again six months later,
no
then the asked again
Yes
Dad set out the forsale sign, a Lady stopped within an hour and she later bought the house for what the wanted
I was praying for Dad ,I heard a voice, Rub His Feet, i did, he opened his eyes, he had been in a coma for 9 days from a stroke and he had a resuscitator making him breath and a lung infection and he was out of the hospital in 3 days and lived well for 11 more years,
I have seen a number of miracles,
the way of the spirit is best
One of the the best times I've had after the spirit lead me to do something was i go door to door sales for 20 years and i am constantly asking Gods spirit where to go, which neighborhood .etc.so i stay tuned ot the guidance of the spirit
I saw a box turtle in the road and the spirit lead me to pick it up, the next home i stopped at ten miles away ,the lady came out by my truck, saw the turtle on the seat of my truck and said ,You Have a Box Turtle!!! my son loaned his box turtle to his friend and he lost it,he is so upset about it. will you give him yours?
Gods spirit works thru people who listen
so many people pray but dont take the time to listen for the answers and are not open to the guidance of the spirit of God
But there has been many times God didnt do anything about my prayer ,that is up to him though.were his children and sometimes a parent doesnt do as there children ask
i dont know of any %

How accurate or how dependable? He's been 100% dependable answering. But in some ways not as I had asked. But in other times He has provided in ways beyond my wildest hopes, which more than compensates for my disappointments.

"By His mighty power within us God is able to do more than we could ever ask or dream of"

God always answers my prayers. But his answers are not always "yes". Sometimes the answer is "no" and sometimes that answer is "wait". Just because we expect Him to say Yes all of the time does not mean He doesn't answer.
