tomorrow is my mans birthday. i am making him chocolate cupcakes with a rolo candy inside each one. any other suggestions on what would melt down nice and gooey inside?

Before I choose the most popular answer as the best I want to thank everyone for there suggestions! my husband has decided to try the caramello and rollo to see which one melts best. either way he will eat them lol thanks everyone!

Make a ganache (1 cup heavy cream heated and melt in 1 cup of butterscotch chips or any flavor you like). When the cupcakes come out and are warm, poke a hole in the tops with a tip from a pastry bag and then pipe the ganache into the cupcake. just make sure the ganache is the consistency you want. If it's a little thin, whisk in confectioner's sugar a little at a time until you get it where you want it.

Rolo's have very thick coating...I would use hershey carmel kisses instead and then you can wrap them in celophane with a wish like a fortune cookie or a hershey kiss tag sticking out of them

Chunks of Cadbury caramello bar would be even softer and gooier. That sounds good!
