My mother is turning 50. Any good gift ideas out there? Either gag or sentimental? Any ideas are welcomed. I'm usually creative, but of course now I'm drawing a blank. Thanks in advance

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

Maybe you might get her a present certificates for a beauty care or pedicure if she's into that sort of factor. How bout make her a basket with stuff she likes in it (check out the greenback retailer for baskets, candles, knick knacks and such) you might positioned three tiny aircraft bottles of a few liquor in it. Take her out to dinner. You can certainly not pass flawed with present certificate so she can purchase her possess cd's, films, garments, and so on. Or if you are determined, bloodless rough coins and a card works everytime (even though impersonal, and an convenient means out) Hey, even a fuel card! Times are difficult for a 21 year ancient. How bout an low-priced indoor waterfall?

I would suggest you get her an old time candy that she used to eat during her childhood (candies from the 60's or 70's). Or take her back to a place that mean so much to her. Perhaps you could better gift ideas from the source below.

What about a charm bracelet with charms of things she likes and with family birthstones.
My aunt got one for my mom and she loves cats and gardening at that is on there and there are also little hearts with birthstones of her kids and grand kids. You can always add more charms as you go along too and change them in and out.
My mom loves her bracelet and wears it everywhere.
