I had a friend who was overly concerned about what others thought about her, mostly because she was so critical of others. Maybe it will help if you become more accepting about the quirks of the people you associate. Once you have this mindset, you think less about what others think or say about you.

You need to learn how to be thick-skinned my friend. Some people just dont have anything better to do. I am sure there are plenty of people in your life that think the world of you.

I know this seems easy to say but it takes practice, as long as you have a clear conscience about any actions and you are a kind, sensitive person who cares enough to worry about what people think then I believe you most certainly have a golden heart. Plus there are a million other things in the world you can worry about than such unimportant people who dont appreciate sensitive you are, surely they're not worth it!

Life's too short..dont take it for granted, live a little, enjoy it!

Find your own self-confidence by being honest with yourself. Analyze yourself and figure out what kind of person you really are (smart, good-looking, athletic, etc). If you have problems finding good things about yourself work at it until you find something you really like about yourself. Once you have faced up to the truth (good and bad), it is easier to be realistic when people praise or criticize you.

It also helps to realize that most people aren't actually thinking about you.

If you were to wake up and say "I'm not going to make any mistakes today!"...you wouldn't be you. Not that you make mistakes, but you let other people tell you how to live your life and let it bother you when they have nothing better to do than to point out your negatives despite their own mistakes and their own insecurities. Do you know what conformity is? It's when you become just like everone else and you make yourself believe this is the way to be. Don't conform, be yourself...and **** anyone else that has something to say about it.

Why do you listen to them? You should let it go in one ear and out the other...They probably say things because they are either envious, insecure about themselves or Jealous of you..
Don't EVER think what people say about you is true cause the day you start believing it will get you down to there level..

Keep your head up~

take it slowly, and just practice.

start off if someone says something you don't like, come back with a zinger. It will help build your confidance and one=ce you got that built, it won't matter what other's say.
This is YOUR life, you can choose wh enter's it or not.

Just choose wisely.

Step one: Don't decide what to do based on the advice of other people on Yahoo! Anwers (sort of the point, right?).

Step two: Repeat in other situations.

Realise that you only live once. Why spend so much time caring? Wear what you want to wear, be who you want to be, and act like you want to act, because tomorrow you might not be here anymore.

Don't. You can't control how people feel about you, but you can control how YOU feel about you.

Life is what you make it. Keep your head up, man!
