It's because your eyes are being strained from being forced to see in a different way...this happened to me for the first month that i wore glasses then as my eyes got better and more adjusted to the glasses the headaches went away

I don't wear glasse sbut whenever I put on sunglasses or goggles for lab work, I get a really bad headache. I discovered it's because the arms on the glasses push behind my ear and pressure causes me to get a headache. That might be the problem...ask your optometrist if there is a way of getting rid of that.

Bring them back to the doctor and have him check to make sure you have the right prescription. I once had the same problem and took the glasses back to the doctor and told him he had put the right eye lense in the left eye glass and the left eye lense in the right eye glass. He laughed at me and said that couldn't be. He took them and checked them and came out looking very sheepishly and said "you were right"! He changed the lenses and the glasses were O.K. after that. Doctors are only human.......they can make mistakes!!! LOL

Immediately when you put them on? Then you need to go back to the place you got your glasses and have them checked against your prescription. They could have made a mistake.

glasses take time to get used to, if it is that severe you should ask your doctor, the RX might be too strong.
